You have water / electricity meters and want to monitor your consumption without going through the installation time/costs. Thanks to its Hub’O – Modbus interface, Nke Watteco makes your job easier.
Solution:
On one hand, you have your water / electricity meter connected to the ModBus sensor. On the other hand, you have a Modbus programmable logic controller that you connect to the Hub’O LoRaWAN gateway. After having interrogated your water / electricity meter, the Modbus sensor will send your consumption back to the gateway that will gradually communicate this information to your controller.
You will certainly save yourself the important costs and the waiting time related to the cable installation that will allow the communication between the different devices. In addition, you won’t have to buy other gateways but just to add ModBus sensors based on the number of meters you want to monitor.
